C-130H last ISO at Dyess
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Immanuel Inadomi, left, and Airman 1st Class Justin Heaton, right, 317th Maintenance Squadron, hook up connections after changing the engine fuel, hydraulic lines and electrical connections July 20, 2012, during an isochronal inspection at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. During the inspection, Airmen took the aircraft apart to check for cracks, damages and worn out parts. Once the aircraft is repaired, servicemembers put it back together and ensure everything works properly. The ISO inspection on aircraft 73-1598 marks the last time a C-130H will be inspected at Dyess. The H-model era will come to an end later this year when the last C-130H will be withdrawn from service at Dyess. The fleet of 33 H-models will be replaced with 28 new C-130Js, making the 317th Airlift Group the largest J-model unit in the world. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Damon Kasberg/Released)
