Sparky is a nationwide mascot that fire departments use to promote fire prevention and fire safety. Every October, fire departments throughout the country host fire education and awareness known as, Fire Prevention Week. This year’s theme is "Have Two Ways Out," encouraging families to reevaluate their exit strategies and incorporate a second exit.
