The 7th Communication Squadron and two Airmen are recognized by Lt. Gen. Robin Rand, 12th Air Force (Air Forces Southern) commander during his visit Dec. 13, 2012, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. At the Air Force level, Senior Master Sgt. Gary Virtue received the General John. P. Jumper Award for Warfighting Integration and Staff Sgt. Kelly Brim received the Air Force Knowledge Operations Management Award. The 7th CS team also won the Maj. Gen. Paul R. Stoney award for Best Small Communications Squadron in 12th Air Force.
