317th Airlift Group participates in LCLA exercise
Senior Airman Dustin Rice, 39th Airlift Squadron, loads a low-cost-low-altitude bundle onto a 317th Airlift Group C-130J Feb. 7, 2013 at Fort Hood, Texas. The LCLA are a special bundles delivery system, designed to be used and discarded rather than turned in and reused. This method saves the receiver trouble, and the low altitude helps with accuracy and staying under the radar of the enemy. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Kylsee Wisseman/Released)
