Dyess, Abilene Firefighters battle Commissary fire
Dyess Air Force Base emergency responders and Abilene Fire Department clean up after fire at the base commissary, March 25, 2013, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. The fire was reported at approximately 5:30 p.m. and was extinguished by 6:30 p.m. About 30 Dyess firefighters and eight Abilene firefighters responded to the scene. All occupants of the building were evacuated safely and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
