Inclement weather release

DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Due to the inclement weather and the associated travel risks, the 7th Bomb Wing commander, Gen. Glen VanHerck has authorized commanders, at their discretion, to release non-essential personnel beginning at 1200 CST on Friday, Nov. 22. Civilian personnel who are released by their commanders will be placed on administrative leave, with time cards coded as LN for the affected time. The 7th Medical Group Clinic will remain open until 1400 to see patients with existing appointments.

While the road conditions are not yet severe, the forecast is for the wintry mix to continue and conditions to degrade throughout today and tomorrow. All personnel are advised to minimize travel and use caution if travel is necessary. This release has been coordinated with the 317 AG, and applies to all Team Dyess personnel.
