Tye Gate construction Published Jan. 16, 2015 7th Bomb Wing Public Affairs DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Construction began at here Dec. 15, 2014, to remove and replace pavement between Military Drive and the Tye Gate with concrete slabs. The Tye gate is expected to remain closed for the duration of the construction, which will continue into March. Dyess personnel may experience delays at the Arnold gate during peak reporting times. Dyess Airmen may work with their first-line supervisors to stagger or alter reporting times to mitigate delays and mission impacts. More information and updates on the progress of the construction project will be posted as it becomes available.
