Memorial service to be held for Dyess Airman Published June 11, 2015 By 7th Bomb Wing Public Affairs DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- A memorial service is to be held in honor of Senior Airman Leanne Locascio at 12:30 p.m. June 12, at the base theater here. Twenty-five year old Locascio was killed in a motorcycle accident on FM 126 near Mulberry Canyon, approximately 15 miles outside of Abilene, June 6, 2015. Locascio was assigned to the 7th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Dyess Air Force Base as a B-1 aircraft parts store apprentice, on Dec. 31, 2011. In June 2014, she was permanently reassigned to the 7th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. "Please join the 7th AMXS & LRS family for a funeral service as we pay our respects to Senior Airman Leanne Locascio. Full military honors will follow outside in front of the base theater," said Lt. Col. Calvin Dixon, 7th Bomb Wing chaplain. In addition, the 7th Bomb Wing commander has authorized the American flag be flown at half-staff on Dyess June 12, 2015, in remembrance of Locascio.
