DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Arnold Gate will be getting some TLC starting August 31. The asphalt from the off-base traffic light to the Visitor Control Center will be replaced, and while vehicle access will be maintained, expect delays coming into and leaving base. The construction is slated to be completed by the beginning of October.

Tips and tricks during the construction period:
The Tye Gate will be open 0530-1730 Mon-Fri.
The VCC will continue to assist in getting visitors on base.
Look out for the construction workers at Arnold Gate!
