Timothy Ray 7th Bomb Wing commander DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- I've always been proud to be a part of this dedicated team and with the recent UCI results, my appreciation for your commitment and unique capabilities grows even deeper. It is both humbling and incredibly rewarding to see the awesome work this team turns out. I wish more of you could have been there last week while I was seated next to the ACC vice commander when the results of our inspection were announced. It's always good to hear how impressed the command's senior leadership is with Team Dyess. What most of you don't know is that our score or "compliance rate" was better than 99 percent, making it one of the highest compliance ratings in ACC since 2001, very impressive! The credit is all yours Team Dyess; you executed the plan brilliantly and more than impressed the entire IG team with your professionalism and motivation. There were literally dozens of superior performers recognized by the inspection team; congratulations to each of you. Rest assured there are countless numbers of you that deserved equal recognition. Since I was at Langley when the results were announced, I got to hear from all the functional leads, and their comments were very complimentary. You should all be extremely proud of this accomplishment, especially in light of the challenges we're currently facing. ACC was left with the impression that Dyess' "house is in order," which only adds to our reputation for being exceptional warfighters. Thanks for all you do!
