Dyess commanders are scheduled to begin serving the Thanksgiving Day meal to Airmen and family members at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Longhorn Dining Facility on base.
In what has become an annual tradition, commanders from several units across the base gather at the dining facility to serve turkey, ham, dressing and other traditional dishes to the family members of deployed Airmen and to the Airmen who remain here during the holiday, but the dinner is open to all military members and their families.
