Airshow announced Published Feb. 20, 2008 7th Bomb Wing Public Affairs DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The date for the 2008 "Dyess Big Country Airfest" airshow and open house is slated for May 3 with the civilian aerial demonstration team, Tora! Tora! Tora!, serving as the headliner. Tora! Tora! Tora! is a re-enactment of the December 7th 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor, and the performance involves many Japanese fighters and bombers as well as pyrotechnics. This feature performer will be just one of the numerous aerial and ground demonstrations that are expected along with static displays showing off many of the Department of Defenses' arsenal along with vintage and civilian aircraft.
