Dyess to hold a Parent University Published April 16, 2008 7th Bomb Wing Public Affairs DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Dyess Family Advocacy Program and Integrated Delivery System in conjunction with local community agencies, are hosting theĀ first Parent University April 17. This one-day event, being held during the Month of the Military Child, offers parents a variety of information and resources on education and parenting to include subjects such as internet safety, early childhood intervention services, information on choosing daycare, stress management and more. Caspar Weinberger, former defense secretary, established the Month of the Military Child in 1986 to recognize military children and their important role in the armed forces.
