Dyess seatbelt and cell phone policy change Published April 22, 2008 DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Individuals caught driving in violation of the installation traffic instruction may soon find transportation a little bit tougher to come by. On April 17, Colonel Ray, 7th Bomb Wing commander, approved a change to the traffic instructions that will revoke the driving privilege of an individual who drives using a cell phone without a hands free device or an occupant not wearing a seatbelt. On the first offense the individual will have a 30-day suspension. The second offense will result in a six- month suspension and a third would earn the offender a one-year suspension. 7th Security Forces and wing safety will enforce changes in AFI 31-204 Dyess Supplement.
