8th annual Rockin' in the Park set for May 2

A free rock show will be available for all Dyess personnel and their dependents May 2 from 6 p.m - 11p.m. 

The 8th Annual Rockin' in the Park is an event to thank Team Dyess for all their hard work during the year and for their work leading up to the airshow. 

The event will include music from rock bands Revolution and Screamin' Moon Dogs. To open the show the United States Air Force Academy Wings of Blue will perform and land in the middle of the parade grounds. The winner from Dyess Idol will also give a performance. 

Besides music there will be food and beverage available to purchase, along with a children's play area. 

It is suggested to bring a lawn chair or blanket for sitting. No glass containers, coolers, BBQ grills, pets or outside alcohol will be permitted in the parade grounds. 

The following areas are designated parking for the event: BX, commissary, theater, Heritage Club, Dorm parking lots, Hangar Center, Dyess Lanes, Chapel, Credit Union, main pool and the 436th Training Squadron.
