We Care Team highlights 2008 award winners

DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --  The following are the We Care Team's "Top 10" volunteers of 2008. They were chosen out of the WCT's 500 volunteers because they have volunteered for 22 percent of the project hours:

10 - Kassandra Burdick

9 - Staff Sgt. Randall Idell II, 7th Equipment Maintenance Squadron

8 - 1st Lt. Jennifer Idell, 7th MDOS

7 - Airman 1st Class Mike Shakhtmeyster, 7 FSS

6 - Senior Airman Robert Gantz, 40th Airlift Squadron - also received the first-ever Founder's Award

5 - Airman 1st Class Patrick Hasty, 7th Munitions Squadron

The 2008 WCT Outstanding Volunteer Award Winners were: 

Airman 1st Class John Burdick, 7th Component Maintenance Squadron
Airman 1st Class Adam Alweidat, 7th Munitions Squadron
Staff Sgt. Anthony Napolitano, 7th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron

The 2008 WCT Volunteer of the Year Award winner was Airman 1st Class Kyle Johnson, 7th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron.

The 2008 WCT Superior Community Service Award Winners, with more than 250 hours of volunteer service, were:

The 5th recipient - SSgt Christopher O. Cline, formerly of the 7 EMS now stationed at D-M
The 6th recipient - SSgt Anthony Napolitano, 7 AMXS

The 2008 WCT Star Supporter Award Winner, presented to the merchant providing the best support to the WCT, went to the Communities of Abilene Federal Credit Union.
