This keeps aircrew members informed of their training requirements and keeps them qualified to fly and deploy. Time in military: Six months Time at Dyess: Three months Hometown: Bennett, Colo. Why did you join the military? To serve my country, continue my education, and to someday support my own family . Where do you see yourself in 10 to 20 years? Supporting a family, earning a masters degree in criminology and continuing my career. What do you do here for fun? I go out with and visit friends, boating, scrapbooking, dancing and volunteering. What's your favorite Air Force memory or story? The transition from basic training into technical school. When I first got into tech school, I wanted to go back to basic! I felt there was too much freedom thrown at me too quickly, and no one telling me what I was supposed to be doing. I was lost, and I didn't know what to do with myself. What accomplishment are you most proud of? Graduating from Basic Military Training. It was a great experience that boosted my confidence and pride in myself. Who is your role models?
