CFC ends with significant numbers Published Dec. 3, 2008 By Capt. Patrick Lamie Combined Federal Campaign coordinator DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Dyess' 2008 Combined Federal Campaign ended Nov. 21. Eight hundred forty-seven people pledged donations amounting to $171,682. That is more than 170 people and $4,000 over what Team Dyess produced last year! I am proud to be a member of this team that continues to give back to the community in record numbers, even during times of economic hardship. I would like to thank all the CFC representatives who donated their time to make this campaign a success. I would especially like to thank Capt. Ben Smith, 2nd Lt. Alexandra Psihas, and Master Sgt. Robert Kelley for organizing the CFC Burger Burn, Senior Airman Tim Beers for building the CFC Website, and Senior Airman Maura Dennehy for assisting in advertising and public relations. A big thank-you is also due to the Chief's group for organizing and hosting the CFC golf tournament and to all the businesses and organizations that made the CFC Burger Burn happen: the Commissary, BX, Chief's Group, OSC, United Supermarkets, Wal-Mart, Albertsons, HEB, Coca-Cola, Ben E. Keith's, The Heritage Club and CE for setting up the tents and CFC Sign.
