Job description and its impact on the overall mission: To ensure "trusted" medical services are provided to all beneficiaries. To prepare and dispense prescription and non-prescription medications along with counseling patients on the safe and proper use of their medications. Giving active duty members and families piece of mind through times of deployment and times at home. 5. Time in the military: 5.5 years 6. Time at Dyess: 5 years 7. Family: Wife, 2 boys (ages 5 years and 10 months) and 2 dogs. 8. Hometown: Yucca Valley, Cali. 9. Why did you join the military? To carry on a family tradition of military service and to seek out and establish a career. 10. Where do you see yourself in 10 or 20 years? Enjoying retirement with my wife and traveling. 11. What do you do for fun here? Go to the state park, go to the zoo, BBQ with friends and family, golf with my dad and father in law. 12. What is your favorite Air Force memory or story? Retired Lt. Col. Veigel (a Red Cross volunteer) did my re-enlistment ceremony. He was able to get in his old service dress and show his grandson, who had never seen him in uniform before, part of their family history. 13. What accomplishment are you most proud of? I got to spend 1.5 years in Honor Guard driving all over Texas primarily performing military funerals. During my time I got to see a lot of military history. Presenting my first flag to the next of Kin is something I will never forget. It was a great opportunity to bestow honor and appreciation to family and friends of accomplished veterans or retirees. 14. Who are your role models? Parents, Grandparents and my Wife.
