Unit: 7 AMDS 3. Job title: Dental Technician 4. Job description and its impact on the overall mission: Increase and maintain the oral health of Dyess Airmen by providing dental cleanings. 5. Time in the military: Four and a half years 6. Time at Dyess: Nearly three years 7. Husband: Senior Airman Jamel I. Daniels 8. Hometown: Iselin, NJ 9. Why did you join the military? I joined the military to better myself and help my family financially, and also to attend college for dentistry/hygienist. 10. Where do you see yourself in 10 or 20 years: I see myself getting my degree as a hygienist; living each day as if there was no tomorrow; and being able to put a smile on someone's face every chance I get. 11. What do you do for fun here? Play basketball for Dyess Women's Base Team; Listen to music, R&B and Hip Hop. I alsow enjoy spending time with my goddaughters and friends. 12. What's your favorite Air Force memory or story? When I was stationed at Randolph AFB, I earned dental clinic bragging rights by beating my superintendent, Master Sgt. John Lester in a challenge basketball game up to 21. 13. What accomplishment are you most proud of? In Jan 2007, I had the opportunity to complete the Advanced Oral Hygiene program as a distinguished graduate. I learned how to better educate my patients on caring for their oral hygiene, and make them healthy and fit to fight. 14. Who are your role models? First and for most God; second my mom, a single parent of four, and last but not least my family.
