A sell out crowd of nearly 50,00 people witnessed two Dyess B-1 bombers perform a flyover for the Texas Rangers April 6, as part of Major League Baseball opening day festivities.

The B-1 bombers are part of the 9th Bomb Squadron here and have flown a flyover for the Texas Rangers over the last few years.

Before the game members of the 4th Infantry Division Band played the national anthem, while the B-1s performed the flyover. The Rangers also recognized recent returnees from the War on Terror and a Medal of Honor recipient. Former President George W. Bush threw out the first pitch.

The Texas Rangers defeated the Cleveland Indians 9-1.
