Mesquite rodeo championship offers free admission to military

DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The Mesquite rodeo championship is sponsoring armed forces night Aug. 15 beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Resistol Arena in Mesquite, Texas. Active duty servicemembers get in free with military Identification. Reserved seats cost $15 for adults and $9 for children. Tickets including a buffet cost $19 for adults and $13 for children. Roping seats are $9.50 per person. The deadline for ordering tickets is Aug. 7.
