DAFB seeking volunteers for thrift shop

DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --  Dyess Air Force Base thrift shop is looking for volunteer's to help with customer service, sort donations and stock shelves. The thrift shop, located at 382 4th Ave., is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and the first Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to anyone who has access on base. Dyess thrift shop sells items such as clothes, jewelry and furniture. Profits are given back to the Dyess and Abilene community in the form of charitable contributions and educational scholarships.
