DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Commissary shoppers will see discounted sale promotions on holiday hams, cookies, crackers and fruit cakes, holiday gift packs (some include health and beauty care products), candy, baking ingredients, pre-packed meat and international holiday treats. The Defense Commissary Agency added 40 winter and holiday items to its online virtual commissary shopping, http://www.commissaries.com. Also, an assortment of 19 Disney items will be added to the site's product line for ordering and delivery beginning Dec. 1. DeCA is stocking holiday gift boxes including popular single-serve fruit and nut mixes, cookies, crackers, and a macaroni and cheese cup. The gift boxes can be purchased ready to ship, donate or simply deliver to any special person or military organization. Customers should look for the snack boxes on display pallets near the cash registers.
