DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Tech. Sgt. Chris Minnifield and Airman 1st Class Derek Murphy, 317th Airlift Group, place ramps on the back of a C-130 Hercules, Jan. 17 at an East Coast Air Force Base to load a “Gator,” a six-wheeled utility vehicle, bound for Haiti. The C-130 crew of six departed Dyess Air Force Base to support relief efforts following the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that devastated Haiti, Jan. 12. The Air Force's airlift capability enables the United States to respond immediately to any disaster domestically or worldwide. The United States is the only country with an aircraft fleet capable of providing this type of response. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Robert Hicks)
