Dyess tax center opens for business Published Feb. 1, 2010 DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The Dyess Air Force Base tax center is open for federal tax preparation services Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. by appointment only. The tax center is located in building 7235, next to the Airman Leadership School, and is open to active duty military members, E-4 and below, and their dependents. The members of the 317th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 7th Civil Engineer Squadron, 7th Logistics Readiness Squadron, 7th Munitions Squadron, and 7th Operations Support Squadron have their own unit tax advisors and should contact their respective volunteer for tax preparation services. Taxpayers should bring the following: social security numbers for the taxpayer, spouse and all dependents; childcare and daycare expenses as well as the name; W-2 forms from each employer active-duty members may obtain this from at https://mypay.dfas.mil.
