Dyess NCO pleads guilty during special court martial Published April 19, 2010 By 7th Bomb Wing Staff Judge Advocate Office DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- During a special court martial April12 , an NCO pled guilty to selling military property and larceny. Staff Sgt. Kenneth W. Curry III, 39th Airlift Squadron, stole a night-vision device and sold it to a local civilian surplus store. The device was originally sold to the Air Force for approximately $4,149.55. A panel of officer members sentenced Sergeant Curry to 15 days confinement, reduction to E-3, forfeiture of $342 per month for 12 months, hard labor without confinement for 3 months, restriction to Dyess Air Force Base for 45 days and a reprimand.
