Crash claims Dyess life

A Dyess Air Force Base Airman was killed in a car crash on Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene, Texas, at approximately 4:15 p.m. April 14.

Staff Sgt. John Rodman, an Arkansas native, worked in the 7th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron.

"Sergeant Rodman's death is a tragic loss to the Air Force," said Col. Rob Gass, 7th Bomb Wing commander. "When Team Dyess loses a member of the team, we feel it across the
base. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and fellow B-1 maintainers during this difficult time."

A memorial service will be held April 26 begining at 3:30 p.m. at the Dyess Chapel. The uniform is uniform of the day.
