Dyess civilian dies of surgery complications

DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --  Tina Hernandez, a medical clerk at the Flight Surgeons office at Dyess AFB medical clinic, was pronounced dead June 3 due to surgery complications.

A memorial service for Ms. Hernandez will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Dyess AFB Chapel.

"Members of Team Dyess are saddened by the unfortunate loss of one of our own, and our thoughts and prayers go out to all the family and friends," said Col. Robert F. Gass, 7th Bomb Wing commander.
