Superhero Trio Join Forces in Latest Free Comic and Coloring Books

Three of Marvel Comics' most popular superheroes, Iron Man, Captain American and Thor, battle Ultron, Juggernaut and Fin Fang Foom in the latest free "military-only" "New Avengers" comic book to come to the Dyess AFB BX.

Titled "Hero Exchange," the new Army & Air Force Exchange Service/Marvel comic finds the superheroes arriving just in time to take down two of their enemies, but Thor is injured and Iron Man's armor is severely damaged. Word then arrives that Fin Fang Foom is attacking 400 miles away.

With the superheroes in no condition to fly, the Army offers to fly them to battle. Along the way, two Army Privates give the three healing heroes a brief history lesson on how AAFES has served the military for the past 115 years.

"By featuring three of Marvel Comics' leading men, this comic book is sure to be a 'must have' for Airmen at Dyess AFB," said the BX's General Manager Teresita Williams. "The previous issues have proven to be collector's items and I anticipate this one will be just as popular."

In addition to the comic, a free coloring book featuring the superhero trio is also available at the BX.

"Hero Exchange" is the ninth installment in the AAFES/Marvel military-only comic book series that began in April 2005.
