"The main purpose is to get out of the bad habits we all fall into as drivers of any type of vehicle," said Master Sgt. Cameron Dallmann, 7th Logistics Readiness Squadron and Green Knights president, chapter 63. "With motorcycles, you have to be more alert of everything, not just the other cars." More than 20 competitors participated in four different events that tested their skills and knowledge of safety measures to take while riding. They were scored in two separate categories, time and accuracy. The first place over-all finisher was 2nd Lt. Brian Hamilton, 7th Logistics Readiness Squadron. The Green Knights club is a military motorcycle club formed in 1999 and formally recognized in 2000 at McGuire AFB, N.J. It was designed for all military members including, retirees, dependants and DoD civilians. According to their website, the riders get together to discuss issues of the base, fight for biker rights, help each other, participate in charity events, and enjoy going on rides.
