It's that time again to donate to the Combined Federal Campaign. The CFC consists of more than 200 tax-exempt charities that provide health and human services. This program allows for certain charitable organizations to solicit contributions from employees of the federal government of the United States.

"I donate to Africa Fighting Malaria International Incorporation," said Senior Airman Greg Showell, 7th Comptroller Squadron. "It really hits home for me because I had a little sister who passed away at a young age, and young kids are dying because of this disease every day. It just makes me want to help and give back."

The Dyess Chief's Group raised $2,800 from the Chief's Golf Tournament held in October, more than double last year's donation.

"For me personally, I feel a great satisfaction knowing my contributions, financially or otherwise, are helping someone in need," said Chief Master Sgt. Daniel Hutson, Dyess Chief's Group member. "I am more blessed than I probably deserve to be, and feel it's important to always give something back."

Each squadron has a CFC representative assigned. Talk to your first sergeant to find out who your representative is.

The campaign season is from Sept. 1-Dec. 15. Contact a representative to donate.
