Dyess Air Force Base has implemented the Deployment Resiliency Assessments program for members of the Armed Forces assigned here. This program affects active-duty and Air Reserve Component members coming back from deployment and those who are getting ready to deploy.

In accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act of 2010, Section 708, the military treatment facility will schedule four medical appointments with deployers over the span of two years. These appointments will be synchronized with existing readiness and deployment health activities.

The process begins with the member going online and filling out the appropriate questionnaire. It is important to complete this survey 60 days prior to a deployment. This is also an important time to ensure contact information is up-to-date in DEERS, and Tricare enrollment process at Dyess Clinic is complete.

The goal of this program is to ensure deployers are in the best of health before deploying and throughout their return. By providing face-to-face dialogue, qualified providers can identify and treat any concerns and continue to provide medical care here at Dyess.
