Dyess Airmen compete in survival competition
DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas—Airman 1st Class Robert Hicks, 7th Bomb Wing Public Affairs, looks through his Airman’s Manual Feb. 17 during an ability to survive and operate training competition here. To help prepare for the upcoming Operational Readiness Exercise, Dyess held a competition between squadrons to test their ability to operate and survive during war time. The competition consisted of different obstacles such as self-aid and buddy care, vehicle decontamination, self-decontamination and answering a variety of questions. To succeed, Airmen had to work together and finish each obstacle thoroughly and quickly. (U.S Air Force photo/ Airman 1st Class Shannon Hall)
