Chamber of Commerce to host world's largest barbecue

DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --  The Abilene Chamber of Commerce's Military Affairs Committee is scheduled to host the 46th Annual World's Largest Barbecue, a free barbecue for military personnel and their dependents, April 16 from noon to 2 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. at the Abilene Civic Center. Tickets have been distributed and made available through the Chamber of Commerce office, 2nd and Cypress Street, or through Dyess first sergeants. Single servicemembers are permitted to bring one guest. A valid military or Department of Defense identification card is required.
