If you're planning to take pets to Korea as part of a permanent change of station after Dec. 1, 2011, the requirements have changed.

Pets must be micro-chipped, have a valid health certificate within 10 days of arrival and have a current rabies vaccination between 30 days and 12 months old.

A rabies neutralizing antibody test from an internationally approved laboratory not less than three months or more than 24 months prior to shipment is also required, and should have a positive result equivalent to at least .5 IU/ml or higher.

Animals from rabies-free regions or under 90 days old are not required to have a rabies neutralizing antibody tests. Also, pets less than 90 days old are not required to have a rabies vaccination.
