Arts and Crafts center sell custom ornaments

DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The Arts and Crafts center here is selling personalized ornaments until Dec. 31.

Shoppers may choose from crystal, mirror glass or acrylic wood designs to make their own unique ornaments.

"The designs are good for squadron logos, as well as for personal logos," said Marilyn Williams, Arts and Crafts manager. "There is an early bird special of 10 percent off for purchases made before Oct. 31."

Standard shapes and sizes for ornaments range from $5-12 with custom cutouts available. For last minute shoppers, there are ready-made ornaments already in stock.

"Individuals are able to bring their own photos or designs to put on the ornaments," said Maria Ramos, Arts and Crafts center employee. "The shop is also willing to help with creating designs for those who might need assistance."

For those wishing to sharpen their skills in arts and crafts or looking to take up a new hobby during the holidays, call the Arts and Crafts center at (325) 696-4175, store hours are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m- 5 p.m and Saturday from 10 a.m-1 p.m.
