The VFW Motorcycle Group of Texas Unit 2, Martin D. Denson Post 6873, invites all motorcyclists to participate in a Motorcycle Run to benefit the Voice of Democracy Scholarship fund. This Scholarship fund is supported by the Veterans of Foreign Wars as a national scholarship benefiting thousands of Jr. and High School students across America.

Portions of the funds raised will go to support the Texas State winner of the VOD. Last year's State winner was Sharon Yang of Tyler Texas and recipient of a $7,500 Scholarship Award. She was sponsored by VFW Post 5400 and Ladies Auxiliary in Alta Loma, Texas. Our local Brandon Gill of Eula High School placed first for Post 6873 and received a $500 Scholarship award.

These winners can go onto Nationals for a chance to win up to $30,000 scholarships. You can find more information at www.texasvfw.org.

Tickets are $12 for Pre-registered riders or $15 at the gate and $5 for passenger. Barbeque luncheon is $6.50; soft drinks included.
