The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders visited Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, to meet Airmen from the 7th Bomb Wing and 317th Airlift Wing as a part of their 82nd USO tour Dec. 8, 2017.

The DCC met with Airmen throughout the base and hosted a Cheers to Fitness event at the Dyess Fitness Center. Their visits can include autograph signings, events with families on military bases, and meals with the troops.

“This is such an incredible honor for us to be here, to meet everyone, to say thank you for their service, sacrifice and dedication that everyone is doing for the country,” said Jinelle Esther, Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader. “I can’t wait to meet everyone, we’ve had the most amazing experiences so far and it’s a wonderful time of the year to be out here spreading the cowboys love and cheer.”

Airman 1st Class Jordan Pate said the visit came right in time for the holidays for those Airmen who don’t have the ability return home for Christmas or New Years. Dyess was one of four Air Force bases the DCC visited during the USO tour.

“Having a professional team come out and visit all of the squadrons and meet the Airmen is a great morale booster.” Pate said.
