ABILENE, Texas -- More than 800 military service members, spouses, honorary commanders, civilians, Abilene Chamber of Commerce and Military Affairs Committee members attended the 2017 Air Force Ball at the Abilene Convention Center in Abilene, Texas, Sept. 22, 2017. In celebration of the Air Force’s 70th birthday, this year's theme is, "Honoring the past, cherishing the present and inspiring the future." The guest speaker was Chief Master Sgt. Jack Johnson, Supreme Allied Command Transformation command senior enlisted leader in Norfolk, Virginia.
