Dyess Airman found dead

DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – An active duty Airman assigned to the 317th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron was found dead off-base in Wichita Falls, Texas at approximately 11:30 p.m., Sept. 14, 2017.


Per Department of Defense policy, the name of the Airman is being withheld until 24 hours after next-of-kin notification.


Team Dyess mourns the loss of a treasured member of our Air Force family.

 

"Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends who grieve today,” said Lt. Col. Pete Leija, 317th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron commander. “This loss is felt deeply by the 317th AMXS family.”
