Col Todd Jensen is the Commander, 7th Mission Support Group, Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. In his current position, he commands six diverse squadrons responsible for installation civil engineering, security, supply, transportation, fuels, contracting, communications, family support, food, education and recreational services. The 7 MSG provides critical installation support to a community of 14,000 members assigned to the 7th Bomb Wing, 317 Airlift Wing and 16 associate units to ensure deployable warfighting forces in support of global engagement taskings.
Colonel Jensen was commissioned in May 1998 through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program, Detachment 020 at the University of Arizona. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of Arizona, a Master of Science Degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan University and a Master of Science Degree in Logistics from the Air Force Institute of Technology. He has commanded two squadrons and served in various Wing, Major Command and Joint leadership roles from Flight through Squadron Command and Combatant Command Headquarters levels. Colonel Jensen has deployed worldwide in support of Operations NORTHERN and SOUTHERN WATCH, ALLIED FORCE, ENDURING FREEDOM, INHERANT RESOLVE and FREEDOM’S SENTINAL.
Colonel Jensen is married to the former Jill McMurray of Charlottesville, Virginia and has four children, Noah (18), Donovan (15), Lucas (13) and Elias (11).
