Prepare, wash, recover: 317th AMXS improves wash program

U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 317th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron clean the wing of a C-130J Super Hercules at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, July 12, 2018. As a part of the recently adopted process, new equipment is due to be purchased to replace the existing wash suits being used. The impact of the new wash suits are expected to increase the durability and comfort for Airmen using the suits for more than 12 hours at a time. The suits, much like Little Rock’s, will have cooling packs placed inside the rubber overalls and are designed to stay at a constant 55 degrees for over 3 and a half hours in 100 degree weather.
