Chapel

Dyess chaplains are committed to providing opportunities for religious expression, pastoral care, and personal, moral and spiritual growth to members of the Air Force family. The base chapel accommodates all religious faiths and offers a variety of religious, social and educational programs. Opportunities for spiritual and personal growth are offered in areas such as couple enrichment and interpersonal relationships.

The religious education program (Protestant and Catholic) includes classes for all ages Sunday mornings, as well as small group Bible studies. Inter-denominational shared faith, contemporary and gospel religious services are celebrated. The chapel also sponsors Bible studies, women's, youth group and family activities, marriage enrichments and other spiritual renewal events. Chaplain services are available during normal duty hours. For after-hour emergencies, call the chaplain duty officer through the command post at 696-1921.

 · Catholic Masses are celebrated Saturday, 5 p.m.; Sundays, 9 a.m.; and Tuesday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. · Holy Day Masses are as scheduled.
· Protestant worship services include the traditional service at 11 a.m. on Sunday with gospel service at 1 p.m.
· Special worship observances as scheduled.

· Religious education is taught Sundays during the school year at Dyess Elementary School. Protestant classes are 9:30 a.m. and Catholic classes are 11 a.m. Vacation Bible School is held during the summer.
