Dyess meets CFC '07 goal Published Nov. 14, 2007 By 7th Bomb Wing Public Affairs DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Dyess personnel stepped up to the challenge this year and met the 2007 Combined Federal Campaign goal for the base. As of Nov. 9, the base raised $151,844. With a large number of personnel away from the base during the campaign, the goal at Dyess was set at $150,000. "I'm overwhelmed by the number of personnel who contributed and the generosity shown by Team Dyess personnel," said John Ruzinsky, the CFC chairman. He thanked all of the volunteers behind the scenes. "Without their time and tireless efforts, none of this would be possible," he said. In keeping with this year's campaign motto, "Help Our World Forward," Dyess personnel did just that. Their excellence in support of the daily mission is also evident in their fundraising, making the world a better place for all of us, he said. "As in previous years, the need this year has increased dramatically," Mr. Ruzinsky said. "The caring attitude of Dyess personnel will go a long way in meeting this need."
