Preventing a Million Dollar Accident
A new wooden container sits on top of one that has seen more than 10 uses on Aug. 8, 2015, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. The amount of damage to the bottom crate shows what could have happened to the aircraft parts inside. Reusable containers are used to protect aircraft parts, which can be worth more than $250,000, while they are being transported or stored. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman Quay Drawdy/Released)
