SCHEDULED BASE EXERCISE Published June 28, 2016 DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas- -- A base exercise is scheduled to take place at Dyess Air Force Base tomorrow, Wednesday, June 29. During the exercise there will be an increased security forces and first responder presence on and around Dyess Air Force Base. There is a potential during the exercise for delays in regular day-to-day base activities such as the 7th Medical Group, Base Exchange, Commissary and other base facilities. In addition to those delays, installation gates may be closed for periods of time, which may impact scheduled deliveries coming on to the installation or scheduled appointments at various base facilities. During the exercise, there is also potential for loud noises emanating from the installation.
