Tops In Blue scheduled to visit Abilene Published July 13, 2012 By 071312 DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The U.S. Air Force's Tops In Blue will offer a free night of family entertainment at the Abilene Civic Center at 7:00 p.m. on July 31, 2012. "Tops in Blue is the Air Force's premier entertainment showcase," said Tom Edwards, show producer and chief of Air Force Entertainment. "The new 2012 team is a reflection of the best of the best performers throughout the Air Force." In this year's show, Tops In Blue 2012 will perform the music of the Doobie Brothers, Earth, Wind & Fire, Whitney Houston, and Maroon 5. This year's tour will also showcase the country music of Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, and The Zac Brown Band, as well as patriotic music to honor our nation and its heroes. Admission is free and open to the public. The Tops In Blue 2012 tour will visit various cities in the United States and more than 20 countries, with close to 130 performances over a 10 month period.
