  • C-130 J MODEL TO BE DELIVERED BY CSAF

    The C-130J model is scheduled to be delivered to Dyess AFB April 16 at approximately 1:30 p.m. by Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz. The newest aircraft addition to Dyess, C-130J, is a comprehensive update of the Lockheed C-130 Hercules, with new engines, flight deck and other systems.

  • DYESS BIG COUNTRY AIR FEST UPDATE

    Gates will open 1 May for the 2010 Dyess Big Country Airfest and Open House which will commence with a B-1B high speed pass at 10 a.m. All are invited to experience Dyess AFB and the Air Force way of life. Tye Gate on Military Drive will open at 8:30 a.m. for the public with opening ceremonies

  • Dyess Airman found dead Jan. 19

    An Airman assigned to the 7th Bomb Wing at Dyess Air Force Base was pronounced dead after being found in her off-base residence Jan. 19, 2010. A memorial service for Tech. Sgt. Angela C.
