317th AG deploys in support of AFRICOM

A C-130J takes off Aug. 10, 2013, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. The 39th Airlift Squadron was only given a few months notice for their deployment to U.S. Africa Command, however, even with short notice, they were able to gear training towards broadening their focus to single and multiple formations with numerous mission capabilities.
